This fungus lives in all of us, it is a part of the fungi and bacteria always living in side us, which is why more than 99 percent of females will get a yeast infection at least once in their lives. However, there ways to prevent it from happening, but you will have to know what causes it first. In adults the most common cause is sexual intercourse, and then there are also using the wrong soap (too harsh), wearing wet underwear, and wearing pants that are too tight.

If you are suffering from a yeast infection and think that it is your soap bringing it on, then you need to look at changing the type of soap you are using, and visit your doctor or gynecologist.

The causes in an infant can only be left to two things, and those are a wet nappy that does not get changed and the soap you are using at bath time. If your little ones comes down with infant yeast infection, make sure that these things are checked.

You do not want your little baby to suffer from a yeast infection, so be sure to be careful of the soap you use and that your change the baby’s nappy often.
