How To Get Rid Of Blackheads
Lots of people wonder how to get rid of blackheads because almost everyone will have a blackhead in their lifetime. Many people are losing the battle of the blackheads. So just how do you get rid of blackheads? Using a gentile soap (not bar soap) can prevent you from getting a bunch of blackheads. Gentile exfolliants used everyday may also help you to prevent them.
But what about once you have them? Worried about how to get rid of blackheads then? One of the best ways to get rid of a blackhead is to squeeze it out. Make sure you are not squeezing too hard because this can do more harm to your skin than good. Gentle squeezing is actually good for your skin. It relieves the pressure, preventing further damage to your skin. If you are over squeezing, pinching, scraping the skin with your nails, or pressing too hard you are doing great damage to your skin.
There are ways to make it easier to release the blackhead without harming your skin. A slightly warm rag over your face can help to soften the blackhead. This will make it easier to squeeze out without damaging your skin. Be sure that you don’t get the rag too hot because it can cause spider veins to surface and create irritation.
First wash your face with a mild soap.
Do not use bar soap, use a water soluble cleaner.
Pat the skin dry and place a slightly warm rag over your face for about 15 minutes.
Pat your face dry again.
Place tissue over each finger to prevent slipping and pinching skin, and apply even, gentle pressure to each side of the blemish.
Press in a downward motion, and then up around the blackhead.
Do not do this more than 2 times. If you cannot remove the black head after 2 tries, it is not coming out, and you run the risk of bruising the skin, making the infected area worse, or even cause scarring.
If this doesn’t work, and you’re still wondering how to get rid of blackheads, pore strips may be used, but keep in mind that the chemicals in the strips may cause your skin to become irritated and possibly break out further.
